PILOTS

Edgefield Aviation is seeking skilled and safety-minded Helicopter Pilots to join our growing team. We operate across the Pacific Northwest supporting utility, external-load, agricultural, and air-tour operations under Part 133, Part 137, and Part 91.147, with future expansion into Part 135 charter operations. Pilots at Edgefield enjoy a professional, small-team environment with diverse flying opportunities.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with Class II Medical (or higher)

  • Minimum 1,000 hours PIC helicopter time (turbine preferred)

  • Experience in Bell 206/OH-58 or similar light utility aircraft

  • Long-line and external-load experience highly preferred

  • Agricultural spray or public-use background a plus

  • Lives within 1 hour of Sandy, OR or willing to relocate

  • Current U.S. driver’s license and clean record

  • OR and WA applicators licensure (or ability to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct flight operations under Parts 91, 133, and 91.147 in accordance with company GOM and LOAs

  • Perform safe and precise external-load, agricultural, and charter missions

  • Maintain accurate flight, maintenance, and duty-time records

  • Assist with load planning, weight-and-balance, and site logistics

MECHANICS

Edgefield Aviation is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics with strong backgrounds in the utility sector of the helicopter industry. Our maintenance team supports a diverse fleet of Bell aircraft used in external-load, aerial application, and restricted-use conversions. We value professionalism, mechanical precision, and pride in craftsmanship across every task. As an FAA Type Certificate holder and manufacturer of OH-58 aircraft, Edgefield Aviation provides complete lifecycle support, from field operations to engineering, fabrication, and certification. Our maintenance team supports both in-house manufacturing projects and active utility flight operations across the Pacific Northwest.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • 3+ years working as an A&P in the helicopter industry

  • Strong background on light Bell aircraft (206/206L/OH-58 series)

  • Experience with aircraft rebuilds, modifications, or manufacturing

  • Lives within 1 hour of Sandy, OR

  • CDL/HAZMAT endorsement with a clean driving record

  • Possess or ability to obtain Inspection Authorization (IA) within 2 years of hire

  • Familiarity with FAA documentation, Part 135/133/91 procedures, and quality control practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and major component installations

  • Support aircraft manufacturing and conversion programs under the Arrow Falcon Type Certificate

  • Fabricate, assemble, and inspect components to engineering drawings and FAA standards

  • Conduct functional tests, ground runs, and maintenance recordkeeping

  • Deploy to field sites to support operational aircraft as needed

  • Coordinate with pilots, and management to maintain compliance and efficiency

Edgefield Aviation is seeking motivated Support Truck Drivers to join our field operations team supporting aerial application, utility, and external-load missions across the Pacific Northwest. Our drivers are a vital part of daily flight operations, ensuring smooth logistics, safety, and efficiency from the ground up.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • 3+ years of experience driving and supporting helicopter or agricultural field operations

  • Experience operating fuel, chemical, or service trucks

  • CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and field troubleshooting skills

  • Willingness to travel during the operating season

  • Lives within 1 hour of Sandy, OR

  • Clean driving and safety record

  • Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor in dynamic environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport and operate support trucks for aviation spray and utility projects

  • Mix and load materials in accordance with label and environmental regulations

  • Conduct fueling, rigging, and daily service of aircraft and ground equipment

  • Maintain accurate fuel and chemical inventory logs

  • Ensure compliance with DOT and FAA safety standards

  • Support pilots and crew in remote operations and on-site coordination
