At Edgefield Aviation, we bring the Pacific Northwest to life from the air. Operating under our FAA 14 CFR §91.147 Letter of Authorization, we provide safe, scenic, and unforgettable aerial experiences alongside advanced pilot training. Beginning in 2026, Edgefield will expand into on-demand charter services under an FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, extending our precision and professionalism into passenger transport and utility operations.

Charter — Coming 2026

Edgefield Aviation will soon offer private helicopter charter under an FAA Part 135 certificate. Our goal is to provide flexible, on-demand transportation for business executives, aerial film teams, and utility clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

All charter operations will follow Edgefield’s Safety Management System (SMS) and maintenance program, ensuring every flight meets commercial-operation standards for safety, performance, and reliability.

Training

Edgefield’s training division provides individualized helicopter instruction under Part 61, offering private owners and aspiring professionals the opportunity to train in their own aircraft or ours. Each program is tailored to the pilot’s goals, conducted by FAA-certified flight instructors with real-world operational experience.

Training Programs

Private-Owner Training Program: We assist private aircraft owners in sourcing, pre-buy evaluation, pilot instruction, and ongoing maintenance coordination.
Turbine Transition: Hands-on turbine familiarization and systems management training for pilots moving up from piston aircraft.
Long-Line External Load Course: Practical and safety-focused long-line instruction using real-world operational setups.
Agricultural Pilot Development: Customized courses covering spray systems, GPS mapping, and application procedures.

Each course is quoted on a case-by-case basis, reflecting mission complexity, aircraft type, and training goals.
